Here's my other "aircraft scrap" Iam working with at the moment, including restoring backpanel lighting, and warning lights. These take a very small older bulb that is hard to find and almost non existant. Iam thinking of going to LED lighting but its rather difficult to change over.
Above, my center console (a environmental control panel from a c-141 starlifter), minus the gauges. The gauges were the most expensive parts and were gone when I got the panels, and sadly, automotive gauges wont fit the holes either. Pictures below are of the backlighting, what I have working at the moment. several of these switches are also tied into my USB controller.
Pictured above, my "weapons control panel" for the KA-50 blackshark. This piece is really a "engine 2 boost pump panel" Outta a Boeing 727, minus the expensive gauge. Its also wired into the USB controller.
